EVE Scan is developed and published by an independent developer. There is no company, no server infrastructure and no third party involved in the handling of your data.
EVE Scan does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. The app has no backend and no user accounts. The developer has no access to your information.
EVE Scan does not create user accounts. The app signs you in to your existing EVE Online account, which is owned and operated by CCP Games, using the official EVE Online SSO (OAuth 2.0 with PKCE). We cannot create, modify, or delete accounts on CCP Games' systems.
All data displayed in the app (skills, wallet, mail, assets) is fetched directly from the official EVE Online API (ESI) and stored temporarily on your device. Nothing is sent to the developer.
Because EVE Scan creates no account and stores nothing on any server, all of your data lives only on your device, and you are in full control of it at any time:
No request to the developer is required — deletion is immediate and entirely under your control.
Data protection law gives you rights of access, rectification, portability and erasure over personal data held about you. We hold none: we operate no servers and collect no personal data, so there is nothing for us to look up, correct, export or delete on your behalf. The data the app uses stays on your device and is removed by signing out or deleting the app, as described above.
You remain free to contact us with any privacy question, and you retain the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
The app talks directly from your device to the following public services. We receive nothing from them.
EVE Scan uses no analytics, no tracking, and no crash reporting.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page and the “Last updated” date above will be revised. Material changes will also be reflected in the Privacy section inside the app.
